Madayn Sohar (Non Ferrous Division) — Metal Recycling & Manufacturing, Oman

Madayn Sohar (Non Ferrous Division) is Al Thail's flagship facility, where procurement, processing, recycling and manufacturing work as one connected chain. Approved scrap comes in, is processed and recovered, and leaves as finished metal products. It shows how recycling and manufacturing can operate together as a single resource-recovery ecosystem, with each stage feeding the next.
The hub covers battery recycling, lead manufacturing, aluminium recycling and aluminium alloy manufacturing. It also handles copper and brass recycling. The hub is our lead acid battery recycling and lead smelting base, producing refined lead ingots. Material processing and resource recovery support each of these streams, so recovered metal can move into production where it is suitable, rather than being handled as separate, disconnected operations.
Everything is brought together on a single site under one operation, from scrap intake and processing through to manufacturing. This keeps material flow efficient and makes it easier to track and control materials from the moment they arrive until they leave as finished lead, aluminium alloy and other metal products.

Quality is built into every stage. Inspection and testing are carried out along the process so that each batch meets its required specification before release. Health, safety and environmental controls protect people and operations, with particular care given to batteries and lead. Emissions, waste and residues are managed responsibly in line with applicable regulations.
Logistics support the full chain, covering inbound collection of approved material and outbound delivery of finished products, supported by the hub's location in Sohar.
